Transformative Educational Exchange: iCam University Students Build La Colombiere (Garden Library) at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology Sixteen engineering students from iCam University, Paris, France, embarked on a educational journey to Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology, Kakkanad, Kochi. Over two semesters spanning eight months, they immersed themselves in cross-cultural learning, engaging in live lectures and online classes, and delving into India's diverse landscapes to grasp societal needs firsthand. Their ultimate aim was to pioneer sustainable engineering solutions tailored to contemporary challenges. Their journey culminated in the construction of La Colombiere, a garden library on the Rajagiri Campus, financed and built by the students themselves. Surveying their counterparts at Rajagiri, they identified needs and requirements, discussing feasibility with the Civil Department. Upon their return from the Christmas Break, they divided responsibilities and constructed an octagonal garden library.
