The New Year for RSET began with Fr. Dr. Mathew Vattathara as our new director. He is a renowned teacher in Mathematics with over 16 years of experience. the former Director of AMLED School, Dubai, obtained his doctorate from the University of Louvain, Belgium

In the presence of Five delegates from Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (ACT), a launch event of Advanced Standing Agreement between The Australian National University (ANU), and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia and Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (RSET), Kochi. Mr. Alistair Coe, Leader of Opposition, ACT Legislative Assembly.

Four members from International Institute for Scientific and Academic Collaboration Inc were in RSET for exploring the possibilities of organizing Summer Program of 6 weeks and Semester program for 12 weeks.

These professors from to the Department of Nano-science in Sojo University were here to explore the possibilities of organizing nanoscience-related courses at RSET

Delegates from Shimane University, Japan Dr. Deguchi  Akira, Vice President Shimane University and Mr. Miyasaka Minoru, Associate Professor visited RSET to sign an MOU between RSET and Shimane University

Prof. Kiyoharu Hamaguchi, Mr. Sato Fumiaki, and Mr. Ohtani Toshiyuki were at RSET to discuss on various collaboration opportunities with Shimane University. They expressed interest in bringing Japanese companies to Kerala for presenting the students of Rajagiri with job opportunities
