International Students Meet up 2017

International students from Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology participated in the International student meet up on 30^th and 31^st of March 2017. They not only participated in the event but also gave performances during the cultural night on 30^th and rocked the show with their awesome performance. They were very excited and happy to meet and make new friends of different countries who had gathered there as a part of this grand event.

Brett Lee in RSET for a noble cause

The famous Australian cricketer Brett Lee visited RSET on 10th March 2017. He is the Cochlear’s first global hearing ambassador. Lee has spearheaded the ‘Sounds of Cricket’ campaign to raise awareness of the significant medical, social and economic impact hearing loss can have on individuals and their families.

Student Exchange Programme - 2017

Students from RSET along with a faculty member got an opportunity to visit several Japanese industries as well as the SOJO University, Kumamoto. The students gained vast experience in the Japanese Industries after visiting over five of them.They also got a chance to experience the Japanese culture and they got the opportunity to dress in the traditional Japanese attire, the Kimono.

Talk by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev

Padma Vibhushan is the second highest civilian award and Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev is one of the few winners of this award. It is a matter of pride that he visited our campus to speak to the budding professionals of India on “Youth and Truth”. It was a wonderful talk and the packed hall of students, staff and parents were mesmerized by his talk on life. The talk was on 10th March 2017 at Chavara hall.

One day trip for International students at RSET

A one day trip was organized to “Matsyafed Brackish Water Fish Farm” at NJARAKKAL for the International students at RSET on 26th February. We had Kohei from SOJO University Japan and the present ICCR students for the trip. They enjoyed the entire day at the place where they got their first hand experience in fishing! They also enjoyed the seafood and the boating.

Bestowed with grade “A” in NAAC inspection 2017

RSET has been awarded an ‘A’ grade in the second cycle of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) inspection which was held on 6th, 7th and 8th of February 2017. The sheer hard work and determination of the entire team of RSET is the reason for this big success.

Presentation by an intern from Reutlingen University, Germany

Mr. Florian Waimer from Reutlingen University, Germany was here on a six month internship programme at SFO Technologies from September 2016 till February 2017. On the last day of his internship at SFO, he shared his experiences with RSET students and also gave a summary of his project work at SFO.
